Book of Eli was really good. 4/5, and don't expect too much from it.

Watched "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" last night... 3/5 - entertaining but utterly pointless. Plenty of boobs if you're into that.

this is a place where we are truly anonymous and we spend our time doing what?
asking about movies and their ratings, Q&A, noises...
Why don't we talk about things of intellectual import?
politics, economy, scientific discovery, the end of the world, ANYTHING?

House and Castle as well. Of course, that fucking Monday night physics lab makes me miss them both.

I like Metalocalypse. Is any of the other adult swim stuff any good?
February 1 2010, 00:18:47 #1193
@1136 Yeah, they have some good stuff on occasion; the trouble is that I can never remember their schedule.

Fuck labs. 3/4 of my classes this semester are lab classes. Fucking great. Yeah, that A. A. Bondy concert? Nope, gotta go to a bullshit physics lab.
Fuck.
So yeah, this is a thread for venting, I guess. Or whatever you want. Go ahead and sage it into oblivion if that's what you want.

As somebody who didn't go to college I don't know what the balls a lab is. What's a lab?

Anybody here use Tor? (https://www.torproject.org/)
I am hoping to make m.essag.es available as a hidden service (https://www.torproject.org/docs/tor-hidden-service.html.en) on Tor, especially as doing so may enable access by users who may not otherwise be able to.

I don't really have any need for tor. Security through obscurity works well enough for me.

So, we're branching off a sex thread from the Q&A thread, as per @414's suggestion.
I guess we'll run this in the same manner as the last thread; answer the question above you and ask a question yourself.
First question: What is your biggest turn on in the opposite sex (or whatever sex you're attracted to)?

@903 So many things.
I want to watch said partner masturbate.
I want him to be very aggressive every now and then.
I want to have sex in the car with him.
I want to have sex in a more or less secluded but outdoor location.
I want him to pursue me and have to work for it, not just take for granted that I'm almost always in the mood.

Are you for or against abortion? Tell why.

February 1 2010, 00:00:40 #1179
Against, because I believe life begins at conception, and I believe in the right to life.
February 1 2010, 00:08:59 #1180
I'm generally against it, but that view is held loosely. What this really comes down to is a philosophical debate about what defines a human being. If a fetus is defined as a human at the stage at which it is terminated, then it is murder, and if not then it is okay. The problem with either side is that there are further philosophical implications from the definition of when one becomes/is a human. I submit that I am not at this point ready to make a definite decision on a matter this important.
February 1 2010, 00:12:33 #1185
@1180 Right. While I believe life begins at conception, I could deal with it if there was some legal basis defined for the beginning of life at some other point (speaking to abortion law as it is in the US) - but there isn't.
