Should illegal (undocumented, not-government-approved) immigration remain illegal?

The U.S. was built by undocumented and non-approved immigrants. It's not like we asked permission from the indigenous tribal people who were here before us? I think that if they are here making a positive contribution then why not let them stay! There are hundreds of thousands of national born U.S. citizens that cause more problems than "illegal" immigrants. The immigration process is so difficult, selective, and political that I don't blame them sometimes for coming in illegally. We live in a society that is taught to fear immigrants. The news and media make it like these people are horrible because they came here to work and work harder and longer than us. Theres a lot of southern economy that almost relies on illegal immigrants.

We should just make it easier for people to immigrate. I'm all for immigration.

Hell yeah easy immigration. I'm a Voluntaryist so I'm down as hell with freedom of relocation.

@1197 lol u

Seems to be a general consensus.

I think immigration should either be easy as hell, or just get rid of it completely. I'll complain about it until it's close to meaningless, though.
