and the question is: how desperate would you have to be to eat trash?
December 2 2009, 21:40:58 #367 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]
Depends on what sort of trash we're talking about. Relatively fresh food from a clean can? Done it. Anything too old or that has come into contact with other trash? I'd have to be pretty damn close to starvation.
If we're talking about non-food trash, then I would never eat it. Don't see the point.
Question:
Would you rather be blind or deaf?
Also, lame or mute?
December 2 2009, 22:00:26 #369 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]
@367 I suppose I should have been more clear :P I was thinking something food-ish but that is mixed in with all other kinds of trash in a dumpster and you have to go digging to find something edible... the really homeless, starving person kind of "eating trash".
I would rather be blind. When I think about being blind, I feel sad but I don't freak. When I think about not ever being able to hear anything ever again, I totally freak out.
And I'd rather be lame than mute because I love singing :D
Ok, and now to end this long-winded answer with a question!
Do you think that buying and wearing clothes from thrift stores is gross?
December 2 2009, 22:06:24 #371 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]
Yeah, a little bit. I don't know why, but the thought of someone else I don't know wearing the clothing first doesn't appeal to me. Same goes for people trying on clothing the clothing that I purchase. I try not to think about it. It's not entirely rational, but I don't care.
Also, for the trash, it would matter how much of the food I could salvage. I don't know exactly where my line is because I have never been pushed that far. I'll eat things that fall on the ground or in the dirt though. Things from dumpsters tend to be dirtier than that, so I probably wouldn't eat them.
Ha ha! My answer was much more long winded than yours.
Question time!
At what age (if any) did you first have sex.

December 2 2009, 22:46:17 #381 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]
Damn, that one is difficult. Well, my partner doesn't own any lingerie, but I like her in just plain underwear, so I'm counting that.
...
Damn
Okay, this isn't exactly following the question, but I like it best when she is naked from the waist down, so both. Bra but no panties.
Also, I am male.
Who is your favorite author?
December 2 2009, 22:49:17 #383 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]
Favorite author... hmmmmm. I don't really have a favorite author. I tend to just like particular books here and there, but I don't think I've ever read ALL of one author's books. Haha, I guess the best I can come to answering that question is to throw out a few authors I particularly like.
I'll go with Arthur Conan Doyle, James Herriot and Mark Twain.

Nice choice. Thomas Jefferson was awesome. Except for that whole slavery thing...
In terms of looks, I tend to get complimented most on my eyes. People also usually call me smart, but I don't think that I do anything in particular to deserve it.
Alrighty, what is your opinion on relativism in history? For example, should we judge Jefferson on the values of his time or should we judge him by our current standards?
December 2 2009, 23:23:04 #389 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]

@537 My wife wouldn't do that... I've pissed her off worse before... much worse. I slept on the couch once by choice... stress was keeping me from sleeping and she had a cough or something and it was bad times all around.
I just posted that here to maybe get a chuckle out of her when she sees it.
For next time, tell your lady that the dress makes you get a chubby looking at her legs... she might not appreciate that but I doubt you'll get in trouble. :D

Freedom and happiness, assuming that the sort of happiness that you're talking about isn't just a short term happiness, but is rather part of a long term feeling of satisfaction. For me satisfaction>happiness. Also, I don't particularly care about money, and am very adaptable so stability isn't much of an issue.

@861 My sister had long, curly, dark brown hair and pretty much all males were crazy about her. Seriously... from the 2 year-old she babysat to the 80-something year old pervs in gas stations.

Do you believe in extraterrestrial life?

What is your opinion on the use of social networking sites?
February 3 2010, 22:38:59 #1254 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]
I use them because it would otherwise be impossible to keep up with my friends who do not have the time to write letters or take phone calls or even write emails of any notable length. And I believe that rapid availability of new information is super important.

February 18 2010, 01:23:01 #1305 [Y/N 0 Agree] [Y/N 0 S] [Y/N 0 T] [@]
@1304 m.essag.es hasn't been demonstrated to the audiences that would enjoy and benefit most from it - privacy freaks, anti-government groups, radical free speech supporters. When that happens, I believe it will thrive. If that doesn't happen, it will shrivel.
